BARN TO THE REAR OF THE ROSE IN JUNE P
Threshing barn. Date of 1739 carved on face of post facing the threshing floor.
Timber framed barn clad in weatherboarding on brick plinth with half-hipped thatched roof. 4 bays, aisled to east and with outshut to east. Double doors each side in penultimate bay to south. Internally the barn has jowled upright posts angled queen truss roof and through purlins. The wall frame has staggered midrail and diagonal tension braces. There is a grooved section of timber either side of the entrance which originally took a threshing board.
