Church of St Mark
SU 41 SW 10/8 14.2.69.


Built 1890-91 by J. E. K. and J. P. Cutts. Neo-Decorated style. Built of
brick with stone dressings. Tiled roof. Nave and chancel with north and
south aisles, transepts and south porch. Clerestory. Stone fleche. The
interior has a fine series of stained glass windows by H. Holiday, of 1909-13,
in the chancel, south aisle and south chapel including a particularly fine
east window. Iron chancel screen. Piscina and triple sedilia.
