C17, c1900. 2 storeyed timber-framed building with an attached (late Victorian)
northern part of large scale, presenting 2 gables to the front (east) of 1:1:1
windows. Red tile roof, half-hipped but also with old and later gables and later
full hips. The old block has a tile-hung upper floor, which becomes exposed
½ timber at the rear, rendered lower walling: red brickwork to newer parts.
Massive chimney breast on south side (west end) and shafted stack in centre of
old block. Casements: large bay on front (north side). Brick central porch
with A-centred arch, gabled open porch at rear.
