1792. Standard type: single cambered arch spanning waterway and tow path. Red
brickwork (English bond), projecting band following slightly-cambered roadway,
parapet wall ending in square piers with plain stone caps. Plan is also curved,
with narrowest point in centre, straight cutwaters. Oval metal plaque states:-
Built 1792, restored 1976, S&HCS (being Surrey and Hampshire Canal Society),
IWA. During the recent renovation the parapet walls were restored.
