1792. Red brick cambered arch above canal and towpath; plan widens on curve
from the centre, splayed straight cutwaters. Parapet, projecting band, ending
in square piers with stone cap. Oval metal plaque states:- Sprats Hatch Bridge:
Built 1972: restored 1975: HCC.
