SU 7852 DOGMERSFIELD PILCOT

18/11 Pilcot Mill

C18. Small rectangular block of 2 storeys, with attic floor. Main walling is
in red brick (Monk bond, with some blue headers) but the north face and the upper
south face has exposed timber-framing: upper part of east wall and north gable
is boarded. Red tile roof; half hips. Small openings, casement frames; one
2-storeyed frame carries sack door above access door. Mill wheel. Brick walling
arranged to provide sluices and boundary to the mill dam near the mill. Last
used 1928.
