Early C19. 2 storeys, 1:1:1 windows. A symmetrical front with gabled projecting
2 storeyed centrepiece. Red tile roofing, gables have decorated bargeboards:
shafted stack. Rendered walling, 1st floor bands (lower in centre), passing
round sides, with 2nd floor bands below side gables, plinth. Casements, with
square-headed panes. Trellis porch with coved metal hood. Association with
Charles Kingsley.
