C16, C18 and modern. 2 storeys, 5 windows. The structure is a complete timber
frame within, mostly hidden but showing as ½ timber framing on the outside at
the north and south sides, the infill and other walling being of red brickwork
(Flemish bond in the central section), with cambered ground-floor openings.
Red tile roof, ½ hipped. The shafted stacks grow from a massive interior base
which has a large 4-centred arch to a ground floor fireplace, and a smaller
4-centred arch to a 1st floor fireplace, both with chamfered edges. Casements.
Plain doorway. To the west are the remains of a barn, rebuilt to a lower level
using old timbers, and this is attached to the house by a connecting north wing
of very recent date, in matching style.
