5/75 Barn at Taplin's Farm
to north-east of farmhouse

Cl7, C18. Small 5 bay barn, with gabled extension in centre of north face
projecting slightly beyond the aisles on that side. Timber-frame on brick base,
with straight struts, between posts and tie-beam and tie-beam and purlins.
Walls have exposed timber framing to west and north, with boarded projection;
otherwise red brickwork and infill. Modern shingle roof, hipped at ends.
