Mid C19. A single-storeyed 3-dwelling unit of 3 main windows and end wings
of slightly lower eaves, 3 doorways (2 in the wings). Red tile roofing,
gabled to the west and ½-hipped at the east end; 2 Tudor stacks. The main
wall is timber-framed in its upper part (with rendered infill), on a brick
base, the wing walls are red brick with a blue diaper pattern at the west
side. The west gable (facing the roadway) is an ornamental feature, the
upper part having close timber-framing with curved bracing in the upper
panels; below eaves level the red brick walling has blue diapers and a
stone (plinth) band links to the boundary wall coping. In the centre is
a panel (unaltered) with a cusped top to its stone surround, the outer
edge of which has thin buttresses. Casements. Plain doors in solid frames,
enclosing 4-pane fanlights.
