C17, C18. Mill of 2 storeys and attic, and attached house of 2 storeys,
now all one dwelling, the central part having exposed framing and walling
slightly recessed into both sections. 3:1:1:3 windows. Red tile roofing,
½-hipped to house part and also at each end of the higher mill section
(which has 1 highly positioned small gabled dormer). On the north side
a projecting wing (formerly a hoist) with a ½-hipped gable. Catslide to
north side of house. Red brick walling in English bond, with cambered
openings, plinth; some boarded walling on the north side. Modern leaded
casements in the small original openings. The house has a 6-panelled door
in a solid frame. Older features have been introduced, including an old
door (now the main entrance), Cl7 panelling, some carved panels of religious
scenes. The massive timbers of the mill are exposed within.
