C17, C18, C19. A complex structure of several periods, with a near-symmetrical
facade of 2 storeys (south wing 1 storey), 1.3.1 windows attached (early C19) to
the main (east) front. Red tile roof, with brick dentil eaves, carried over a
central gable. Red brick walling, Flemish bond, 1st floor band (raised in
centre), plinth: some blur header panels on south side of centre. Sashes in
exposed frames to 1st floor and ground-floor of north wing, otherwise leaded
casements (one old on 1st floor of north wing). Doorway has a solid frame
canopy on carved brackets, 6-panelled door. Rear (west) elevation reveals
earlier origin, the centre being an exposed timber frame (including a 3-storey
gable) above a lower brick wall: north and south sides have catslide roofs, from
which extend on each side two conjoined gabled outshots. Painted brickwork,
3 hipped modern dormers and a gabled dormer, casements. Old lead cistern, with
