C17, C18, C19. Old structure with timber frame exposed on the west end, the
ground floor completely open (on columns) for the shop. 2 storeys and attic,
3 windows. Red tile roof, flat-roofed single dormer, moulded eaves cornice
with scored triglyphs in frieze, supported at intervals by 4 moulded and curved
brackets. Rendered walls, plinth. On the 1st floor 2 sashes in exposed frames,
at east side a Victorian gabled projecting bay with coupled sashes and narrow
side sashes. Ground floor has a blank recess to the west side and an early
C19 shopfront, with rectangular 3-light bay, double glazed doors and modern
fascia attached to canopy.
