C16, C17, C18, early C19, C20. Timber-framed house of 3 bays, with later external
walling, C18 west wing at the north end, and recent west wing at the south end.
One-storey and attic, irregular fenestration. Hipped tile roof, half-hipped to wings,
gabled dormers. Red brick walling, the oldest sections being in English bond with a
high plinth, some Flemish bond with blue headers, and modern English bond. Old
massive chimney breast within, once with a door and a staircase at each side; 2
attached stacks at the north end. Modern casements. C19 brick gabled porch with
arched entrance, and boarded door within. The interior has old beams, exposed framing
to the cross walls, and a slender early C19 staircase.
