C17, C18, early C19. Symmetrical front (south) of 2 storeys, 2 windows. Tile roof.
Red brick walling in Flemish bond with blue headers, first-floor band (broken by
cambered ground-floor openings). Sashes in exposed frames. Tuscan stone porch of 2
columns, 2 pilasters, with half-glazed modern door beneath a fanlight. Within the
house overlaps into the rear of No 1, where massive framing is shown: there are other
signs of a timber-framed origin. At the rear of the east end gable (exposed to the
forecourt of the adjoining chapel) there is an access to the chapel schoolroom via a
doorway with a pointed arch.
