C17, C18, early C19. Double roofed main block of 2 storeys, with a 2-storeyed
cross-wing at the south end, and a single-storeyed utility wing at the north. The
front (east) has 1.3 windows. Tile roof, half-hipped gable to the slightly-projecting
south side, half-hipped elsewhere. Rendered walling. Sashes in reveals. Victorian
open gabled porch with timber-frame on side walls; old 6-panelled door. The south
elevation is symmetrical, of 2 windows, the former central doorway now being a
window. Inside, heavy beams and part-exposure of horizontal timbers (and massive
chimney breasts) reveal an earlier origin, of a timber-framed house.
