10.1.53 The Swan Inn


C16, early C19, and modern. Two-storyed L-shaped block with modern infilling of the angle. The east front of 2 windows has a shafted stack, tiled roof, exposed
timber-frame of close studding with rendered infill, leaded casements, and a large timber-framed gabled porch. The north elevation has a gable to the east side and a central 2-storeyed gabled projection; tiled roof (half-hipped at the west end), plain bargeboards, close-studded frame and 5-light leaded casements (the upper on brackets). Stable block (now a dwelling) of a later period attached at the south side, with half-hipped tile roof, painted brickwork and casements.
