Deepnell House

C17, C20. Timber-framed house with alterations and recent extensions; one-storey and attic. Tile roof, half-hipped at the south end, the hip of the north end being merged with modern work, gable at the front being hung with tiles, in scalloped bands. Painted brick walling. Modern casements, and porch. Within, there is a massive chimney breast, with an oven, exposure of the remaining part of the framework, a C17 staircase with slatted stair rails. A large mass of stonework next to the chimney is a fragment of an earlier structure.
