Church of St Thomas

1849, by T H Wyatt. Gothic style; a 2-bay chancel, nave of 5 bays with a north aisle,
a tower at the east end of the aisle, and a north porch. Tile roofing. Flint walling
with stone dressings; stepped buttresses. The windows are mostly coupled lights with
cusping beneath quatrefoils, at the west end. Two lancets beneath a circular window,
at the east end a traceried 3-light window. The unit of the interior arcade has a
lone pointed arch within a pointed arch and cylindrical columns with moulded cap and
base. There are contemporary fittings, including a circular font.
