The Long House
II
C18, C19. Symmetrical front (east) of 2 storeys, 5 windows, with later additions in
matching style, of one window to the south side and 2 to a wider north side. Tile
roof, brick dentil eaves. The walling is formed by vertical flush panels in blue
headers, and wider panels in red brickwork (Flemish bond) containing the openings,
with red brick quoins and base (below ground floor cill level). Upper windows are
sashes in exposed frames, the lower sashes in reveals. Modern small hipped roofed
porch, with half-glazed door.
