Almshouses of 1862, modernised 1982. Symmetrical elevation (west) of 2 storeys, 1.2.1
windows. Steep slate roof, with gables at each side. Walling of flint with red brick
quoins, bands at impost and cill levels, plinth; openings are chamfered, with
4 centred arches and brick-filled tympana. Modern casements. Front doorways now
reformed as windows. Central stone plaque inscribed ... In Memorian ROBERT HOLDWAY
