Upper Wyke Manor

C18, altered mid C19. The house has a front (south) of 2 storeys and attic, 5
(+ blank) windows. Hipped tile roof, brick dentil eaves, 4 gabled dormers with
scalloped slate panels above the casements. Red brick walling in Flemish bond first
floor band, indications of altered fenestration, cambered ground floor openings.
Sashes in exposed frames, some windows having been widened at the later period. Large
Gothic brick porch with stone kneelers, verges, oval arch with keystone and heraldic
device, brick plinth; within is a 9-flush-panelled (3 top glazed) door.
