C16, C17. Two storeys and attic. Large timber-framed house with later alterations and sub-division. Thatch roof, ½-hipped with outshot at the north side, catslide at the rear, large central stack. Exposed frame with arch braces, in part masked by shallow angular 2-storeyed bays (C17), which have brick walling between the lights, otherwise mostly herring-bone red brick infilling. Casements, some leaded. Plain boarded doors in solid frames to Nos 2 and 3, No 1 having a glazed door within a modern 1/2-glazed porch with a thatched roof.
