Nos 3 and 4 (to south-west of St Mary's Church)

1828. Pair of cottages being a long block with a late C19 extension (of one window) at
the south side of the former symmetrical arrangement of four windows. Two storeys.
Hipped slate roofing. Red brick walling with Flemish bond (blue headers), cambered
openings; the middle section of the ground-floor has four arches, the two inner with
windows, the outer doorways. Casements. Half-glazed arched doors. In the centre is a
flush stone oval plaque inscribed GPJ 1828.
