C16, and modern. Timber-framed house of 1.2.2 bays, the 1/2-bay enclosing a massive
chimney with a staircase on one side and the entrance on the other. Thatch roof with
½-hips, hipped pantile roofing to modern outshots at each end. Exposed frame, with
painted brick infill and walling of the wings. Casements, one old cast-metal light.
Boarded door in solid frame; main entrance is a modern thatched roof porch.
