(Forge Cottage)


Late C18. Formerly 2 cottages: 2-storeys, 4 ground-floor windows. Tile roof to the
western half, thatch to the east (with eyebrows). Red brick walling in Flemish bond,
blue headers, cambered ground-floor openings. Casements. Plain door. To the west is
attached a forge building of the mid C19, in brick and tile, which has group value.
