Formerly the Workhouse of 1836. Two storeys and attic, 2 windows (and 2 gables) to the
front. Old tile roof, central shafted stack. Walling is in old 'Basing' brickwork of
mixed bond, with second floor weathered tile string above brick dentils within the
double gable, and small parapets in centre and at corners, first-floor projecting band,
plinth. Casements in modern openings.
