Bylands Cottage

II

Early C18, early C19, early C20. Two-storeyed house of several periods; the old part was extended westwards and in more recent times a substantial addition was attached along the south side. Tile roof, decorative bargeboards at the east end. The oldest part has exposed timber-framing (of late character) with brick infill, the early extension is in brickwork with cambered ground-floor openings; the last phase is in matching style. Casements. Modern gabled brick porch.
