Old School Cottage

Late C18, mid C19. Two-storeyed cottage, of 2 windows, with later extension on the
east side of a small single-storeyed school, with one window and porch. Thatch roof,
1/2-hipped at the east side, tiling above the school. Red brick walling in Flemish bond
(½-timbered gable), with blue headers to the school; cambered openings to the
ground-floor and 4-centred chamfered arch to the porch. Old Casements, leaded to the
first-floor and cast metal panes to the ground-floor. Plain boarded doors in solid
frames.
