Barn. C17; later additions and alterations . Timber frame with
weatherboard cladding, part C20 replacement; C20 corrugated iron roof,
half hipped. 5 bays with central opposing cart-entries both blocked;
that at front in hipped midstray with stable door and two 2-pane
windows on left, and lean-to addition, probably C18, with central
entrance on right. C20 addition to front left; C20 garage doors to
right return and windows to left return. Interior; good quality timber
frame has jowelled wall posts arch-braced to eaves plate and to tie-
beams; queen struts to collars; clasped purlins; pegged rafters, with
assembly numbers in sequence; arched wind braces. Wall-framing retains
mid-rail and some posts. Some of the timbers are reused; trusses
marked with assembly numerals.
