1858, by G.E Street. A Gothic L-shaped house of one storey and attic; the long south elevation has three gables and three windows. Tile roofing, elaborate cusped bargeboards, tile-hung gables with bands of scalloped tiles, eaves stepped fascia with weathered top moulding. Walls of flint with red brick horizontal and vertical bands, quoins, cambered openings, plinth. Casements with hollow mouldings to wood frames, within double-chamfered brick surrounds, the east side window being a brick angular bay with matching features. The entrance is north of the east gable, within a narrower gable unit, with a further outshot to the north, both stepped back; the door is boarded with ornamental iron hinges. The view from the north-east, within the angle of the building, shows a complex of gables, an outshot, a catslide roof with a small gabled dormer near the roof ridge, and a conical roof above a round corner (staircase) tower.
