SU 44 NE Freefolk Lodge


Mid C19. L-shaped single-storeyed buildings with large open porch within the angle.
Red tile roof with elaborate cusped barge-boards and one hipped roof; 2 Tudor coupled
octagonal flues on battered bases above rectangular stacks. Timber-framing on brick
and tile plinth, with infill of small square knapped flints. Casements; one angular
brick bay with rubbed flat arches and hipped tile roof (with scalloped bands). Minor
modern flat roofed attachment.
