SU 54 NW Southington Cottage


C17, C18, mid C19. One storey and attic, 2 above 3 windows. Tile roof with
overhanging gables, decorative ridge, dormers with steep gables and tiled sides and
front. Tapered stack at the north end; later outshots at each end. The central part
has an exposed timber frame with red brick infill and other walling, cambered
ground-floor openings. Victorian casements. Modern boarded door in solid frame.
