House on an ancient site, now with mainly C18 front section and early C19 rear (double-pile). Brick walls: tile and slate roof. Symmetrical wide front (south) of two storeys, five windows. Tiling to the front roof slope,with a deep moulded wood fascia masking the gutter. The upper walls have Monk bond and the lower, English bond; stone cills. Sashes. The doorway has a cornice, fluted frieze, and moulded pilasters, with a fanlight above half-glazed double doors; this is protected by a mid C19 cast-iron trellis porch with a concave leaded roof. Other elevations are less regular, with brickwork in Monk and Flemish Garden Wall bond, some arched windows, and a doorway in the east gable with a decorative fanlight above a six-panelled door.
