7/19 Barn and Cartshed
(20 yards north of
Manor Farmhouse)


Barn, with cartshed extending from the west end. Early C19. The barn is
a timber frame of 5 bays with aisles, and central entrance. High collar
between upper purlins and struts from tie-beam to lower purlins. Ripped
roof of corrugated asbestos. Boarded walls. The cartshed is a lower and
narrow timber-framed structure of 6 bays. Corrugated asbestos roof. Walls
partly boarded, with open front and garages to 4 bays. Included for group value.
