SU 44 SW LONGPARISH FORTON

4/39 Nos. 6 and 8

GV II

Pair of houses, being a replacement of an earlier one. 1865. Brick and
slate. Symmetrical front (north-west) of 2 storeys, 2 windows, with
lower sides set back to form porches. Walls of Flemish bond with blue
headers, cambered openings, plinth. Casements. Plain doorways.
Central stack incorporates 2 inscribed stone plaques, one with 'HFA 1699',
the other 'rebuilt 1865'. Included for group value.
