8/1 Charlton Down Farmhouse


House. C18. Brick and thatch. 2 storeys and attic, symmetrical front
(south) of 3 windows. The roof is brought to a lower eaves at the rear
(of 1 storey and attic, 2 windows), brick dentil eaves. Red brickwork to
the front of Flemish bond, other walls of Flemish bond with blue headers,
cambered openings. Casements. ½-glazed door in C20 porch.
