2/9 Manor House


House. Late C18, with C20 extensions. L-shaped block, of flint & brick, with
a tile roof. Symmetrical front (south) of 2 storeys, 3 windows. Hipped roof,
brick dentil eaves. Walls of brick in Flemish bond (painted), cambered ground-
floor openings, and a plinth comprising a stone band above flint. Early C19
sashes. C20 doorway, wide cornice on brackets, panelled pilasters, glazed door
within side windows. The other walls are of flint with brick quoins, bands and
plinth: the windows being mostly casements.
