2/7 Stable 50 Metres North
West of The Manor


Stable and coach house, of original form and interior. Late C18. Rendered walls
and thatched roof. Long near-symmetrical front (south) of 2 storeys, with 3
doorways (the west of carriage width) separated by 2 windows, with a hayloft door
(the only upper opening) above the central doorway. Hipped roof. Rendering (on
cob) on a brick base with rusticated cement pilasters at each end; the openings
having oval arches of rustic voussoirs formed of flint, separated by brick or
tiles, and carried down each side as jambs. Boarded doors. Small low thatched
wing forward of the west end.
