8/10 Blacksmiths Farm House

GV II

House. C17 core, C18 and early C19, restored C20. Timber-frame core and encas-
ing of brick and flint bands, thatched roof. 2 storey, 5 bay 6-panel half-glazed
door under moulded flat hood to right of centre. 3-light casements under concrete
lintels in all bays, except 2-light to right. Similar casements on lst floor.
Tablets above door 'RHE 1741' and between right bays 'THS 1741'. Roof half-
hipped. Large ridge stack between left bays and ridge stack immediately right
of door.
