SU 34 NW PENTON GRAFTON WEYHILL
4/19 Weyhill Lodge
Large house. 61850, and 1850. Stucco and slate. The original central unit
is a simple classical design, with a symmetrical front (north) of 2 storeys,
1.1.1 windows. tipped roof. Plain walls, with eaves moulding,and plain
pilasters, slightly-projecting centrepiece, 1st floor band, plinth, architrave
to the central (upper) window, ground-floor windows having cornices on brackets.
Victorian sashes in reveals. The doorway has Ionic columns set within pilasters
with a simple entablature and blocking course, fanlight, and ½-glazed door.
There is a taller extension (c1850) at the west side, with a symmetrical west
elevation, containing a projecting unit with Ionic columns to the entrance.
There is alower east block, with a front (north) of 3 windows, and a longer
return (east) elevation; hipped slate roof, plain walls, some sashes and some
