WEST TYTHERLEY STONEY BATTER

Cottage. Late C15, bays added C17, C18 outshot, C20 wing to rear. Timber-frame
with colourwashed brick infill and additions, thatched roof. Front 1½ storey,
4 bays and L outshot. Blocked doorway at LH of R bay. 3-light casement in R
centre bay, 2-light casements in L bays and outshot 2-light casements in eyebrow
dormers over each bay, those to L lower set with tiled trays and lower eaves.
Roof half-nipped to R and swept-down to L. Ridge stack above door. Inside centre
bays 2 bay openhall, C15 bay to R, C17 bay to L.
