Cottage. C17, with early C19 picturesque treatment, and C20 renovation and
extension. Timber-frame core, brick walling, painted, upper parts tile-hung with
fish-scale bands, thatch roof. 3 bay, 1 1/2 storey, single-storey extension, set
back, at each end. Off-centre C19 Gothic boarded door in a 4-centred arch frame.
Thatch swept down on posts to form porch. Casements, an oriel on a moulded base,
and a canted 2-storey bay with chamfered openings, all C19. Off centre C19
Tudor stack. Each end C20 extensions set back, with hipped and half-hipped
tile roofs.
