5/8 Bridge End


Farmhouse. C17 timber frame, C18 recladding, and C20 minor extensions. The
frame is exposed in the upper walls, with brick infill (some wattle panels):
other walls of painted brick work, and a small area tile-hung. Thatch roof,
hipped, with a gabled cross wing, eyebrow/gabled dormers: slate above outshots.
Four-bay house with a crosswing: one storey and attic, irregular fenestration.
Casements. Plain doorway within glazedporch. Inside, the tie-beams have been
cut back, and the trusses braced with crucks.
