Formerly the Borough Farmhouse. Circa 1800 house of 2 storeys, 3 windows.
Yellow stock brick with brick dentil cornice. Hipped slate roof of moderately
low pitch, with end chimneys. Stuccoed lintels and very low segmental arches
to recessed sash windows with glazing bars. Semi-circular, classical porch
with 2 columns. 6-panel door, the 4 upper panels glazed, has cornice head,
with rectangular patterned fanlight holding projecting lamp holder, all in reeded
architrave. Modern rear extensions.
Sumachs shall be amended to read Borough House.
