No 17 (Fir Cottage)
SU 7423 3/57
Late C17 or early C18 building of 2 storeys with high pitched, tiled, double-
span roof, the front span half-hipped, the rear span hipped. Central chimney
to rear of front roof ridge. Moulded wood eaves cornice. Overhanging,
tile-hung lst floor on returns, brick front. Sash windows with glazing
bars. Cornice hood on cut brackets to door.
