Early C18 farmhouse divided into 2 dwellings in C19 and restored to single
occupation C20. Rubble walls in bands of light and dark stone galletted
with ironstone, and with brick quoins and window dressings. Moderately
high pitched hipped roof formerly thatched but now renewed in machine tiles.
Road front of 2 storeys, blank except for 2 small windows. l-storey,
small pent extension at right, formerly the dairy. Garden front of 2 storeys,
3 windows with left bay a rounded bow, full height of house with rounded
hip of roof over. Windows 2 and 3-light replaced leaded casements. Modern,
2-storey East extension which has incorporated part of old stone garden
wall. North-east angle is rounded on ground floor with tile-hung 1st floor
jutting out above. Some exposed beams inside.
