Late C18 house of 3 storeys, 3 windows, painted brick. Hipped, tiled roof
of fairly low pitch with dentils at eaves, in groups of 3. Recessed sash
windows with glazing bars under gauged brick arches, those an upper floors
flat, those on ground floor wide and segmental, with fluted metal fan decoration
in heads, above 3-light windows. Door, of 4 fielded and 2 glazed panels,
with cornice head and patterned semi-circular fanlight, in moulded architrave.
5 curved stone steps, with wrought iron handrail, to semi-circular porch
of 4 columns and entablature with guilloche moulding to architrave, paterae
on frieze and modillions under cornice. Kitchen wing, at back right in
similar style, has 2 doors with flat hoods on cut brackets.
No 32, Heath Cottage, Wych Elm Cottage and the garden walls of these houses
form a group.
