Freshwater House
SU 72 SW 8/97 29.7.49.
Late C17 or early C18 cottage re-fronted, early C19 in grey brick with red
brick dressings. Hipped slate roof with brick dentil cornice. Stuccoed
lintels to sash windows with glazing bars in near-flush, moulded frames.
External shutters to lower windows. 6-panel door, with patterned, rectangular
fanlight, under cornice hood. Left return weatherboarded. On right return
and at rear early brickwork and segment-headed casement windows.
