C17 timber framed house considerably altered externally. C18 brick ground floor,
fishscale tile-hung first floor, hipped roof of clay tiles and central brick
chimney. C19 and modern windows, south bay is a modern extension in keeping.
North bay partly obscured by modern shop projection which also fronts a C18
north stable bay.
Rear elevation shows a modern brick ving to south, the C18 brick stable to north
and the original three-bay house between with three gabled dormers in along pent
roof now supported on a modern brick rear wall with large glazed openings.
Inside, the posts, beams and ties are visible. The roof is ceiled at purlin
level but is a relatively complete side-purlin roof with triple queen post and collar
beam trusses.
